This damage simulator is a work in progress built from the information and in-game damage samples we have available today. Parts of it are reasonably well understood, other parts are provisional best-guesses fit to observed damage. It may be outright wrong in some aspects. Numbers are directionally useful for comparing weapons, skills, and builds, but should not be treated as gospel. MeowDB will update the simulator as more data surfaces and empirical testing is conducted.
Known gaps in the current version: Magician spells are excluded because the magic formula has not been verified for Classic Worlds. Lucky Seven is included but uses a provisional LUK-only formula flagged with an Unverified badge. Crit is applied in the Avg w/ crit column using 1 + (rate × dmg) where total crit damage includes the innate +20% base all classes get. Monster defense, elemental advantage, and post-formula buffs are not modeled. Swing vs stab tagging on ambiguous skills is based on old MapleStory conventions and could be wrong for Classic.
